Today’s i am sharing the latest version of MIUI Theme Editor Software for pc. Theme Designing is not an easy task for all. However, with this tool anyone can now design their own Miui theme. 
Xiaomi developers team has managed to release the English version of MIUI Theme Editor tool. This software allows you to design and to create your own Miui theme. It runs on Windows and Linux machines.
The Miui Theme Editor software comes with all necessary controls which help you to create or modify any official or third party theme. You can create themes for Miui 12, Miui 11 and Miui 10.
The software allows you to customize almost any aspects of MIUI user interface. You can configure the general apps icons, system apps icons, widget, notification, status bar, lockscreen, wallpaper and many other things.
You can also apply any theme directly to your phone from your pc and check how it’s look like.

 1. Added V12 template (note to production: task management and full screen gestures have been moved to the desktop module).

2. Optimize V11 template.

3. Amend V11 (Dial, SMS, Settings) template large background, bottom bar background template material naming (note the name of the large background and bottom bar background when updating the old theme, change the old name to the latest name in editing, edit mode The background of the top bar needs attention and must not be transparent).

How to install Third party Theme on miui 11 and 12

  1. Download the mtz theme file from the above link.
  2. Download MIUI Theme editor from Google Play Store - MIUI Theme editor.
  3. Open the MIUI Theme Editor app.
  4. Now select the Browse option and locate the Third Party Theme mtz file.
  5. Select the Start option.
  6. Select the Next option.
  7. Now select the Finish option.
  8. A message will appear to install that theme. Select the Install option.
  9. The theme has been successfully installed. Now, go to the Theme Store and you will see that the third party theme you installed is here. Click on it and Apply it.

How to Install Third Party Themes on Xiaomi MIUI phones


Permanent Solution(Won’t go to default Theme)

  1. Download and install this App: MiXplorer
  2.  After installing open the App.
  3.  Enable Show hidden globally & recursively
  4.   Now open Settings Menu > Additional settings > Full-screen display and select Buttons.
  5. Now again Go to Settings > Additional settings > Button shortcuts > Close current app > select Long press the Back button
  6.  Now Go to Themes App and start downloading any theme.
  7. After the download has finished and you see importing theme Long Press Back Button as soon as possible and you will get the message Force closed Themes.
  8.  Go to MiXplorer > (Go to)Browse your theme file > Open it > And Copy Everything Except description.xml File.
  9. Now Go to MIUI > theme > .download > you will an mtz file.
  10.  Open that mtz file > delete everything except description.xml file.
  11. Paste the files you copied from your third party theme.
  12. Open Themes App & Apply the Third Party Theme and done.

How to apply third party theme using Theme swap

Note: Your theme will be applied but it will not show applied in your theme center.
  1. Go to Play Store and install Theme Swap.
  2.  Open it and click on the + plus button at the bottom.
  3.  Select the file which you want to install (.mtz file). Click on Hamburger Menu on the top left corner for File Manager.
  4. Tap on OK. And wait till the file is unpacking.
  5.  Click on the Theme Name and Select Pack Theme and Apply.
  6. Then it will show a prompt Theme Packed. Apply Now. Click Yes to apply theme.
  7.  And Boom! Your Third Party Theme has been Installed.
